We wrote letters as characters from The Hundred Dresses. I was Peggy and Sadie was Maddie. At first Peggy teases Wanda but then she is nice in the end. Maddie wants Peggy to stop teasing Wanda but then she decides not to tell her to stop because she is afraid then she will get teased. But either way Wanda is still nice.

Hi Zoe, When I heard that you had a writing assignment relating to the book "One Hundred Dresses," I couldn't wait to see what you had to say! I think the letters you and your friend Sadie wrote are excellent examples of how to end a game that turns out to be hurtful to someone else. Didn't the book just grab your heartstrings and make you want Maddie and Peggy to put themselves in Wanda's shoes earlier? I think "One Hundred Dresses" is a powerful book for learning about empathy and speaking up when you realize something a friend is doing may be unkind to another classmate. As a matter of fact, I think it's time for Stephanie to read it now. That way I'll get to read it again, too! :) Keep up the good work, Zoe! I love to hear about what you're learning! Love, Aunt Kristin

I loved Hundred Dresses a lot, my favorite part was when Maddie and Peggy got their dresses that Wanda drew for them.
