Musical Parody Lesson#2- My own parody lyrics

We watched music videos to see what we liked about certain ones.

I like music videos that have real people, instead of cartoons, because it seems like whenever it is cartoon it only is crazy, but if it is real people, it teaches you a lesson. It is hard to shoot them.

I like to read it read it

Musical Parody Lesson#4: Three Things I Learned

The three things I learned about a Music Video Parody are these: First, there are many clips; You cannot have just one clip, it just wouldn't work, so you have to use about thirty five clips. Second, you have to have patience; It won't always be your turn, and there is a LOT of waiting. Third, It looks easy, but it is hard; You usually see a Music Video Parody before you do one, and the people who are doing it make it look easy, but it is actually REALLY hard. And finally, Forth, you need to choose a popular song; It cannot just be a regular song, because no one would understand the joke of the song. Here is a link to the Parody

My Letter to Captain Nemo

I wrote a letter to Captain Nemo. He is from a book called; 2ooo Leagues Under the Sea. Mrs Paul read it to the class. I was Ned, writing a letter to Captain Nemo. It was fun pretending to be Ned talking to Captain Nemo as I read my letter. I hope you enjoy the video.

Musical Parody Lesson#1: Music Parody Experience

We are doing a music video parody to "Hello by Adele". Instead of Hello, it's called; Multiply and then Divide (we call it hello parody too). We have to do a lot of shooting, and it takes a lot of time and effort. We are almost done, but still working on it. I would say we are about halfway done. Sometimes we have to redo some shoots, because we did it wrong. To me, it's fun and hard. We want to make our parody funny. It is about times tables. I hope you like our parody when we are done!

I would get my water from...

If I didn't have pipes to bring water to my house I would get water from waterfalls. Waterfalls with natural water from the rainforest, and nothing unnatural would be in the water. I think it would be cool to get  water from waterfalls.

The Best Candidate

(In my 3rd grade class we all have to nominate a fictional character for President.)

I think the best candidate for our class mock election would be Leslie Knope from the TV show Parks and Rec because she always keeps promises to people, and she is very considerate & caring. She is a council woman, and she always tries to make people happy with what they have. She is very honest and admits what she does.  She is a hard worker and she almost never sleeps. She is a good role model for girls.

VOTE FOR LESLIE KNOPE!!!  She wants to make peoples lives better and she cares about nature!

Here is a video of Leslie Knope--- there are better examples but the videos were too long.  In this one she is in charge of the parks in her town and she is hanging bird feeders in the parks:
