The first week of school is over! I liked it. I had three teachers named Ms. D, Ms. N, and Ms H. They are all really nice. On the first day I made two friends; Chealsey and Zoe. Chealsey is in my class, and Zoe is in my switch class. Every day at 1:00, we switch classes. Our switch class is with Ms. N and Ms. H. Ms. N teaches us Mondays and Tuesdays, Ms. H teaches us Thursdays and Fridays, and on Wednesday they take turns. Ms. D is my main teacher. I like her. We have something in our class called a link chain (a paper chain) and every time we get a compliment she adds a link to it. Whenever we get to a certain level we get a treat. When we get to the bottom of the chain we get pizza! Every Friday we have a party, whoever gets an A in conduct gets to participate in it. Chealsey is really funny. She also lives really close to me. I have other friends named Dana, Katie, Ashley, Nia and Daydree. In switch class we are learning about poetry, and we are reading a book called Love That Dog. On Friday we had to write our on poem about what we depend on. Here is mine:
So much depends upon a soft pink cake,
scattered in blue flowers,
sitting on the window edge
of my quiet house.
We had to describe it in detail so that people could use imagery and imagine it. I think I did a good job. In Ms. D's class we have to see how many multiplication tables we can do out of 100, in five minutes. I am okay at that. But it is hard. When we are done we check it then finish it. Sometimes I rush through it and get some of them wrong. I do the easy ones first then the hard ones. That way I have already done a lot. Every day in switch class we come into the room, put our backpacks around our chairs, get our writing journals out, look to the smart board to read the prompt, and see what we have to write about, then write it. Sometimes Ms. N and Ms. H give us examples by telling us about something that happened to them to help get us started. School goes by really fast. So far my favorite resource is Music. We haven't gone to the library yet. We usually have a resource at 10:55, then we have a 15 minute recess, and right after that we have lunch, then we switch classes. And the whole school day is six hours. But to me it feels like two. The only thing I think goes by really slow is switch class. I am always taking glances at the clock, waiting for school to be over. My favorite thing to do in switch class is read, and I also like to write. The book I am reading is really good. It is called; From The Mixed Up Files of Ms. Basil E. Frankwiler. I read the first page, and the second I was done reading it I already liked the book. Weird, right? I really like it when Ms. D teaches us Science. It's fun. And interesting. Also cool. Sometimes we do projects, and we need a partner to do it, and me and Chealsey are always partners. School is fun!

My Dream Came True!
I got to go to a bakery and learn from two professional cake decorators how to decorate cakes!
I have wanted to become a cake decorator since I was 4 years old.
The cake decorators names were Caitlin and Brittany, they were both very nice. :)
First I washed my hands, then they gave me a hairnet and apron. I had an apron to keep my dress from getting dirty, and I had a hairnet to keep my hair from getting into the cake.
I frosted the middle of the cake, I had to push out the frosting really hard. Brittany spun the plate around for me while I squeezed the frosting out.
I put the top of the cake on, Caitlin said to lightly push it on so it would hold in place. Some of the frosting squeezed out from the middle. I wanted to eat it.
I feel so proud of myself for making such a beautiful cake!
We are going to eat it after dinner, I can't wait to taste it!

Olympic Athlete Post #4
The Olympics have started! Well, a few days ago. I am excited! I have been watching highlights. There is a channel on Roku that you can watch to see the Olympics. It updates every day so you can see new videos. It has every sport in the Olympics, and if you click one, it shows you videos of people competing in that sport. I have been watching gymnastics and clicking videos of Simone Biles. She is the best gymnast in the world! She did a vault and landed without a single little jump! She got ten points for that. It is amazing watching her. Even on T.V. I like watching Simone Biles do floor routines the most, but I also like watching her on the parallel bars. I KNOW Simone Biles is going to get a gold metal!

My Summer Job
I have a summer job. My mom has a music class and I help her. We have to leave in the early morning and get ready. We get dressed, we eat breakfast quickly, my mom does my hair then we go. She has three classes, A 9am a 10am and a 11am. It is a class for really little babies, they are all really cute. I get paid five dollars for all three classes, my mom gets paid too. It is a hard job. I have to smile a lot, and that is hard for me. But the babies make me laugh. Every class is one hour long, and since we have to get there early, we usually end up being there four hours. After we are done with all the classes, we clean every thing up, and after that we are both sooooo tired. But it was worth getting paid and seeing cute babies! Do you have a summer job?
This is Rylan. He is one of my favorite babies. He is in the 11am class.

My Home
What is your home like? My home is a lot of things. My home is always one thing; Cozy. Well, everyone's home is cozy in someway, right? Anyway, moving on. My home is usually in between loud and whatever. There is usually a TV on somewhere in the house, even if nobody is watching. And Richmond and Teagan (my little brother and sister), are usually somewhere in the house screaming (in a good way), fighting, or calling for mom and dad. Mom and dad are usually on the computer or helping Richmond and Teagan. Me, well, I am usually on the iPad, reading, or fighting with my brother and sister. So, our house is usually whatever.
